I am a visual sociologist researching how photography and visual practices shape peace, conflict and polarisation.
I work at the intersection of visual politics, peace and conflict studies, and participatory visual methods.
My research examines how conflict-affected communities build, contest and imagine peace and conflict through photography, and how the arts contribute to conflict transformation, transitional justice and depolarisation.
