We held the first PhotoVoice auction in 2003 and it quickly became established as a firm fixture in the photography industry calendar. Its reputation grew each year and it became associated with some of the world’s most iconic photography.

From 2005- 2011, the auction was run with the support of Thomson Reuters and over the years some of the world’s foremost masters alongside up and coming photographers generously donated prints to raise money for PhotoVoice’s work.  Donating photographers included Eve Arnold, Herb Ritts, Mary Ellen Mark, Nadav Kander, Peter Beard, Herb Ritts, Tim Heatherington, Sarah Moon, Phillip Jones Griffiths, Martin Parr, David Bailey, Elliot Erwit, Marcus Bleasdale, Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin, Juergen Teller, Sebastiao Salgado, Steve McCurry and Yann Arthus-Bertrand.

The PhotoVoice Lecture Series (2007-2011) brought outstanding photographers to the stage to discuss their work in support of PhotoVoice.   Held in London, lecturing photographers included Sarah Moon, Mary McCartney, Anastasia Taylor-Lind, Chris Steele Perkins, Nadav Kander, Tom Stoddart, Liu Heung Shing, John Swannell, Martin Parr, Ian Berry and Phillip Jones Griffiths.
